Dr. Naresh Gite has recently assumed charge as Director (Human Resource) of Mahavitaran Company. He has been selected for this post through direct recruitment process. Earlier he retired as Joint Managing Director of Aurangabad Regional Division in Mahavitran.

                   Dr. Naresh Gite, who has a long experience of 38 years of administrative service in various departments of the state government, started his administrative service in 1983 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of District Council. Subsequently, Dr. Gite was selected in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in the year 2009. After that, Dr. Gite has worked as Chief Executive Officer of Nashik District, Council, Commissioner of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation, Joint Secretary of State Government Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Managing Director of Mahanand Dairy etc.

                    As Joint Managing Director of Aurangabad Regional Division of Mahavitaran, Dr. Naresh Gite mainly focused on customer service, smooth power supply and solving power problems by going directly to the villages during a period of about nine months. Special responsibility for the implementation of the State Government’s Agricultural Pump Power Connection Policy 2020 was given to Dr. Gite by the management of Mahavitaran. In this, he contributed in bringing this scheme to the villages through the 45-days Program called “Krushi Urja Parva”. He retired in May last year. Subsequently, Dr. Gite was recently selected as Director (Human Resource) of Mahavitaran through direct recruitment process. Dr. Naresh Gite said that priority will be given to make the administrative work of human resources within Mahavitaran, which serves 2 crore 80 lakh electricity consumers in the state, faster, prompt and positive with the help of modern technology.
